While we had the privilege to help care for the kids of our ill friends, we ate gluten free/dairy free to accommodate their diets. In the process of accommodating their diet though I seem to have lost 5 pounds and feel great. I have several friends that are gluten free for various reasons and the diet has helped each of them. If it can help me with my biggest problem--my weight--I'm weighing (har har) pretty heavily on taking the plunge myself.
Tips and advice would be appreciated as well as knowing glares when you see me take a brownie at the church fellowship time.
And no, I did not neglect adding cream to my coffee because pigs have not yet flown and the last fat lady has not yet sung.
